I heard this song in the trailer for "The Watchmen" when I saw the dark night, and I kinda liked it. I used to be really into the smashing pumpkins and it had been a while since I'd listened to them. Its kind of fitting since there's a big storm headed our way tonight with a possibility of tornadoes....
Less than two weeks until I head off on my month long vacation in southeast Asia. I should be getting my passport back soon with all my visas+extra pages.
I also bought a Canon G9 the other day and have been having a lot of fun with the time lapse feature. We're still on that crazy money job (4 days down, 4 to go), but its kinda nice to 5 hours in the morning to prepare for the big trip coming up. I'll probably do a new blog for that one, I have a lot of cool ideas for it that should make it more entertaining to read. I'm bringing a laptop so I'll be able to edit videos and post frequently.
I went to Brass Monkey last night with a couple of industry friends, and I cant believe how big the new standard hotel is going to be. It has a reputation of being a photo industry hotel (I've stayed at the ones in LA and Miami several times), but this definitely is a different approach for them.
Its a weird time to be in New York because the weather is so terrible and everyone is going a thousand feet per second. Once August hits it slows down, but I'm still excited to do a big vacation. I'll post a link to the new blog as August 3rd gets closer.....
