-The gothamist of brooklyn. Good local stuff as well as new from some Brooklyn neighborhoods I've yet to spend time in.

-A great one for anyone who appreciates the absurd world of retouching.
Guest of a Guest
-A social events blog that doesn't have too much crap about celebritys. Good articles and they're currently fighting with some dirty hipster which I appreciate.
The Unofficial Apple Weblog
-For the dorkier crowd....this site is better than the rumor sites because it has more reviews and focuses less on the "apple to release dual sided touch screen tablet with built in iphone dock and 2 terabyte hard drive tomorrow" rumors.
Missed Connections
-The craigslist missed connections postings are hilarious, and theres hundreds of them a day. Plus its a good pass time for the more self absorbed crowd (apparently I fall into that category)
