I'm at milk for the next 12 days straight. Remember that big money job I posted about a few months ago? Oh its back with a vengeance. For 7 days. Starting this Sunday. Also I got glasses.
We did a fragrance ad at night last week that was pretty cool, and we also had a korean job earlier this week. For those of you who don't know about "the Korean Jobs," its definitely a pretty mafioso affair. You show up at the location, set up, shoot all day based off of story boards with minimal direction and usually no idea what company you are shooting for. You shoot and shoot and then they all smile and clap and you move to the next shot. The gangster part comes at the end of the day when the bust out the suitcase full of 100 dollar bills and pay everyone in cash.
Tens of thousands of dollars just divvied up without much being said.
Then you give them a hard drive with all the images and you never hear from them again. Then you go buy awesome stuff with all your crisp new Benjamin's. I'm going for a Canon G9 and an iphone 3g. Providing I can get the latter. the lines at the apple store are still 50+ people deep and its way too hot to be standing in a line just to get a new phone. Dicks.
The song is off the new Beck album which, as usual, is really good. I'm a fan of Beck, and any artists that made a special appearance on Futurama for that matter. I also like the Beastie Boys.
